REAL ME / ME TO BE!

Planning is a simple process of determining where you are (your current reality), determining where you want to be (future ideal), and creating a map to get there.

This exercise provides a vehicle to determine your starting point and destination.  Analyze your past in terms of how you’ve evolved into what, where, and who you are – your current reality and your future in terms of what, where and who YOU CAN BE.  The answers are personal and confidential – no one needs to know but you.

There are no wrong answers in the past except in failing to learn from your experiences.  If you operate within the law, ethics, and your value structure, there are no wrong answers about the future except in failing to challenge yourself, trust yourself and enjoy yourself.  BE HAPPY!

Are these “big” enough?  Are you challenging yourself?

Are these “important” enough?  Are these really valuable in your life?

6.                 How did you achieve these dreams?  Will this same process work now?  If yes, how?  If no, why?

If you commit to pursuing a dream, what is the first step you must take to achieve it?  Is this doable?  What’s stopping you from doing it? If it’s not doable, what is?  Why aren’t you doing what is doable?

If you take this first step, what’s the best thing that can happen?  What’s the worst thing that can happen?   If the worst happens, will you still be alive?  Will you be able to try again?  Can you learn from the experience and increase your chance of succeeding the next time?

What’s the next step?  If you succeed again, what’s the next step?  If you don’t succeed, how can you adjust your efforts and try again?  What’s the next step?

If you try and aren’t successful, will you still benefit from having the experience?   If you don’t try, will you always wonder, what if?

If you succeed, will you be fulfilled?  Will you be ready, willing and able to pursue an even bigger dream?  What are you waiting for?
